9 months hair update for 2012

 

Hello Everyone ,

So I have been Missing in Action for way to long. Your probably like what happen to her or hows her hair doing.????.. well here few pictures and videos to show you exactly that. I going post pictures of haistylesI have been wearing these 9months of 2012. I have mainly been wearing mini twists and wear theses in up styles. I have been pretty simple and lazy with my hair lately but know I have to get back on track since fall is here.

Mini Twists:

For the most of the summer I wore mini twists .This has been my go-to style . It usaully takes me about 3-4hours depending on how small I do them.I keep in for about 2-3weeks at a time. I can wear many hairstyles with in this hairstyle. I love them!!!!

When caring for my mini twists I spritz my ends with water and use a leave in conditioner or oils to seal in the moisture. I would do a wash or rinse about once or twice every two weeks. I usually keep them in 2-3weeks at a time.

Back in winter all through April I had a obsession with trimming and sometimes cutting my ends.. Dont ask me why, especially if I am aiming to gain length.I was picking up the scissors monthly and trimming and cutting my ends.So in April after my scissors obsession faded I was back at 6inches, which was where I ended last summer :/ .That's a shame right???

Well Since April I have been primarily wearing my hair in protective styles. Now I was not as consistence as I should be when it came to moisturizing daily , but I manage to go from 6inches -(8.5-9inches) from April-September that almost 3 inches in 5 months.Now hair grows on average a 1/2 per month. For the most part mines grows at the average rate.I feel pretty good about my progress for this summer. I have fine 3c/ 4a type hair and mini twists has been a protective and low-manipulation hair style.Below are other styles I rock during these 9months in 2012.

STYLE:August 2012: Hairstyle by me as always : Hair blow dry and straighten the bangs and added braided hair extentions to give me high unicorn twist look. I love this style and when I got tired of it hanging low I wraped it in a high bun and bobby pinned it up like pictures below:

 

 

 

Puffs and Buns:

 



Style Febuary 2012:: Style by me : This style is one my favorite style to wear when I wear my hair out and wild.It simple style to acheive: I blow out my hair on freshly washed hair and use a hair tie or string and tie up in a puff :)

 

 

Style in June2012: For this month I primarly wore buns.This month was extremly hot and I wanted a new style other then my mini twists. So here are pictures of various buns I wore through out this month.Some I added braiding hair extensions to create a fuller, dramtic bun.I lobe this style because it easy,simple and chica.

 

 

 

SEPTEMBER 2012 2.4 years Natural length check



Just let you know I am 5ft flat in height so measurments mark differently bases on my body height.
September 2012 Length Check: Hair currently: 8-9inches grazing Arm Pit Length
I cant wait to reach my bra strap I think I need another 6-8months to reach there we shall see.My next length update will be January 2013(4months from now)
